A stunning traditional Indonesian teak house with a high ceiling, Limasan House was originally built in 1956 and has been beautifully preserved and relocated among Bambu Indah’s lush gardens and rice paddies.
Wrapped in vintage wood walls that have been preserved in resin — creating a dappled light effect throughout the room — Limasan features masterful carvings and vividly painted panels. The room’s grandeur is highlighted by the king-size four-poster bed and the unique copper chandelier; a colorful linen sofa, coffee table, and writing desk overlook the Bongkasa rice fields.
The huge outdoor bathroom comes with a copper rain shower nestled in a bamboo grove, a tub carved from a single piece of stone, and a private pond.
The porch, surrounded by plants and rice fields, creates a private nook for enjoying waking mornings and lazy afternoons.
