Chiara: The Year of Postgraduate Bliss

Chiara finished at Yale in the spring, studying Anthropology and Fine arts, concentrating in sculpture. She is spending the year in New York finding the way.

The restaurant features a menu rich in innovative mushroom dishes and fire-based meals, drawing inspiration from Dr. Steven Gundry’s The Plant Paradox. Waterbom Bali is more than just a place to swim and slide; it’s where families come together to play, bond, and discover. Reflecting this philosophy, Elora and Orin Hardy have been working on a stunning open-air restaurant made from bamboo, designed by IBUKU and built by Bamboo Pure. With panoramic views of the exciting Waterbom park, seating for 120, and a range of food options, it’s the perfect pit stop to relax and enjoy a great meal. Opening September, 2024.

Winner Revealed - Playful Bamboo

Earlier this year, Bamboo U and IBUKU challenged creative minds around the world to design a sustainable playground using bamboo. After reviewing over 100 entries, we’re thrilled to reveal that “DORIS The Nudibranch” by Ckori Pena from Studio CKP in Phuket, Thailand is the winning design. This unique concept will soon come to life at Kul Kul Farm in Bali, where it will merge beautifully with its surroundings and provide a fantastic space for kids to play and explore.
