Kuno house is named for its lovely patina. It can be translated from Indonesian to mean “primitive” or “antique” as it is over 150 years old and the teakwood has aged to perfection to a rich cocoa brown. This house’s best feature besides the phenomenal view, sensuous shower, and ideal location—is its abundant porch with carved adornments and the shaded garden greenery. The house is also situated above the deck where there is access to private outdoor dining or laid back afternoons in the secluded, cushioned bale. Our signature rope swing over the natural pool is located just next to this house and can provide another launching platform for cooling off (and showing off).

The house is large and stately with high ceilings fit for a Prince and his Princess. The four poster bed is welcoming and comforting. The room’s décor of antique furnishings creates an atmosphere of early Javanese royal opulence.
