Elora & Orin House

This large, light and airy house was originally a part of the Hardy family home, as bedrooms for John’s oldest children, daughter Elora and son Orin. When the chicks flew the nest, this free standing building was lovingly relocated, piece by piece, from the bottom of John and Cynthia’s garden, to host guests of Bambu Indah.

Elora is the founder and designer of Ibuku and she has lent her stylish tastes and expertise to decorate her childhood bedroom with treasures from around the world. The interiors are accented with Tibetan carpets and antique Chinese and Javanese furniture, to name but a few.

This house is perfect to host a family of four in the large double bed downstairs (‘Elora’ bedroom) with Orin’s upstairs bedrooms as a twin or double. Elora’s room features a private garden bathroom and Orin’s bedroom also has its own private bathroom down a beautiful spiral staircase.

While away hours in large hanging basket chairs and a huge sofa on your private wrap-around veranda overlooking our organic vegetable garden (designed by Orin, creator of Kul Kul Permaculture Farm), full of butterflies and delicious produce.

If you would like, you can even go on a foraging adventure with our team and then create an amazing meal in our kitchen with a Bambu Indah garden tour and cooking class.
