Immerse yourself in style and nature. Our charming Javanese teak wood houses are historic traditional homes built by native Indonesians over 100 years ago. Each served as bridal houses to a Javanese nobleman whose duty it was to provide a home for his new bride. These antique homes were hand picked by John Hardy before being carefully dismantled, relocated to Bambu Indah, lovingly restored and made available to you.

+ All houses except Kuda House are appropriate for 2 guests. In addition, some houses can accommodate additional beds. Additional beds are available for $35++ (plus 11% government tax and 10% service charge) per night, per person, and include breakfast.
+ Antique living with your tribe: our houses are antiques and our beds are as well charged with history. Therefore, our extra beds are not standards but enjoy the comfort of a high quality mattress with mosquito net. We do not recommend the over use of extra beds in our bridal javanese houses, perfectly designed for a Duo escape, unless for very close friends or families travelling with kids or young adults.
All houses include:
Daily breakfast, afternoon tea, housekeeping services, private bathrooms, air conditioning, complimentary wireless internet, refrigerators. In addition, all guests are comforted with access to the natural swimming pool, on-site massage and spa services, full 24-hour front desk, concierge and security. Please note that while we not have televisions or radios in our houses, we enjoy the unique sounds of nature rarely found in hotels elsewhere in Bali.
